Greater returns with the power of social enterprise? See how.

SAMSUNG X MILLION DEVICE DRIVE

What can a million
devices build? A mountain of
possibility.

PURPOSE

Building opportunities one byte at a time.

Samsung is proud to partner with Jonathan’s Landing Foundation and its first social enterprise, Techtonic, to launch the Million Device Drive—a bold initiative to collect one million used, old, or broken devices and transform them into new possibilities for adults with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities.

Donated devices are used to train individuals in technology repair, fund certification programs, and offset the costs of inclusive housing—turning everyday generosity into life-changing opportunity.

Turning e-waste into opportunity

Samsung is giving old tech a second life—and redefining what sustainability looks like.

Through the Million Device Drive, donated devices are kept out of the waste stream and put back into circulation—with purpose. Usable devices create access to meaningful employment and independent living opportunities for neurodiverse adults, while those that can’t be repaired are responsibly recycled. It’s a win for the planet—and for the people who deserve a chance to thrive.

Devices Towards One Million

Behind every donated device is a story waiting to unfold—and Samsung is proud to help write it.

Over 200 neurodiverse individuals have already begun their journey toward independence through hands-on training, industry certifications, and real-world work experience—and hundreds more are on the way.

Just this month, Kai, a young adult with autism, earned his industry-recognized WISE certification in cellphone and laptop repair. He’s now beginning a job with Techtonic as a trainer, leading introductory repair workshops and sharing his skills with others in the community.

A million devices will power a million opportunities for individuals like Kai. When we come together in pursuit of a world where everyone belongs, the possibilities are endless.
